Ann Frances Dorricott
17 September 1958 - 15 August 2003
Following
a short illness, Ann Dorricott of Glen Mona, Maughold, Isle of Man, went to be with her Lord
on Friday 15th August 2003.
Ann
was a treasured wife, fantastic mum and the strength behind the AFD group of
businesses – to which she gave her name.
Her family, friends and colleagues rejoice in her memory and her faith
and testimony will remain behind her.
A
Celebration of Ann’s life and Thanksgiving service took place at Broadway
Baptist Church, Douglas at 10:30am on Wednesday 20th August – and
Ann was buried at Maughold.
A CD of the celebration service is available to any friends who would like a copy - please simply email david@dorricott.org if you would like one.
Ann
cherished the work of the Hospice movement in helping people with terminal
illness to Live until they die – donations in lieu of flowers to The Mighty
Oak Appeal.
David, Stephen, Philip and the whole Dorricott & AFD families extend sincere appreciation and thanks for all the messages of support and condolence - and for the many who have helped in such practical ways. Thank you too to those who have made donations in Ann's memory to the Isle of Man Hospice Mighty Oak appeal, so that others may be given dignity in their closing months and years.
We'd love you to share your memories, thoughts or pictures of Ann - please email them to ann@dorricott.org
